I'm pretty smart and genuinely interested in the world around me. I love to travel and experience new things. Although I have a job that I enjoy, I work hard to prevent it from consuming my life. At home, I care about what's happening in the world and tend to have a point of view. Most of all I love to laugh...particularly at life's misadventures. Life is too short, to get upset over the occasional spilled drink. I can be funny. But in a witty kind of way, rather than a joke telling kind of way, as I tend to mess jokes up. Ideally, I'm looking for someone who can appreciate much of what life has to offer...but not a mirror image of myself. I find people interesting when they're smart, articulate and have a point of view. I'd love someone with a sense of humor and sense of adventure. As I have a wonderful dog, Sophie, a love (or at least liking) of dogs is pretty important.

It is important to me that if you are intelligent, responsible, mature, reliable and not a moody person because I can't stand being around a person when I don't know if you will be happy one day or a grouch the next.
I would like to be with an optimistic, happy person with a good head on your shoulders and a good sense of humor.
I also enjoy travelling a lot so that would defintinitely be an asset....
